2. Definitions

3. Booking and Payment

To hire a skip, you must complete our booking process either online or via phone. A binding agreement is formed once the booking is confirmed. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless prior arrangements have been made.

Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
Deposit: A deposit may be required for certain types of skips.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery without incurring a fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation confirmation.
No-Show Policy: Failure to accept the skip without prior notice may result in additional charges.

5. Hire Terms

The duration of the hire period will be specified in your booking confirmation. If you require an extension, you must inform us at least 24 hours before the current hire period expires.

Late Returns: Late returns may incur extra charges based on the additional time required.
Early Returns: Returning the skip before the end of the hire period will not reduce the total hire charges.

6. Delivery and Collection

We strive to deliver and collect skips at the agreed-upon times. However, we are not liable for any delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as traffic or adverse weather conditions.

Access: You are responsible for ensuring that we have access to the site for delivery and collection of the skip.
Site Requirements: The site must be stable and level, with sufficient space to place the skip without obstruction.

7. Use of Skip

The skip must be used solely for the disposal of waste materials. It must not be used for the storage or sale of goods.

Weight Limit: Each skip has a maximum weight capacity, which must not be exceeded. Exceeding the weight limit can result in additional charges.
Securing Waste: Waste must be placed in the skip in a safe and secure manner to prevent spillage during transit.

8. Responsibility and Liability

While the skip is in your possession, you are responsible for ensuring it is used safely and in accordance with these terms.

Damage to Property: You are liable for any damage to property caused by the placement or removal of the skip.
Personal Injury: You are responsible for ensuring that the skip does not pose a safety hazard to yourself or others.

9. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in the skip:

Hazardous waste, including chemicals, asbestos, and flammable materials.
Electrical appliances containing refrigerants.
Medicines and other controlled substances.
Vehicles or parts of vehicles.
Any items that are illegal to dispose of.

Failure to comply with these restrictions may result in the removal of the skip without a refund and potential legal action.
